How to use the online price calculator.

Felix Letellier Merida -

When creating a new product offer, you will be able to have an approximation of what amount you will receive according to the price you input.

Once you have clicked on "Add an offer", this page will appear:

Just below the "Total Price" section, there is a underlined text which says "See breakdown details" (see above the red arrow). When clicking on it, a calculator like this will appear:

The different lines will automatically change according to the price you have input.

Here is an explanation of what each line means:

  • Line (4) - This will be the amount The Food Assembly commission will be excluding VAT.
  • Line (3) - This will be the amount the Assembly Host commission will be excluding VAT.
  • Line (2) - This will be the amount excluding VAT from your products if there is one, as well it includes both commissions from The Food Assembly and Assembly Host excluding the VAT applied for the services.
  • Line (1) - This will be the amount you will receive including VAT from your product (if applicable), The Food Assembly commission including the 20% VAT and the Assembly Host commission. But it will not include the possible VAT applied on the Assembly Host commission. Make sure to ask the Assembly Host if he or she is charging VAT.

If you need a more detailed explanation of the price breakdown you can read the article "What quantity at what price?" and download the Excel calculator available below.
