The Food Assembly operates within a framework of of direct sales. You are solely responsible for your products until they are in the hands of your customers.
There are no exceptions to this rule. Even if you are not present at a collection and a third party ie. a volunteer or the Host hands out the products, you are still wholly responsible.
It is thus essential that you ensure appropriate transport and storing conditions so that food hygiene and safety standards are met.
As a Producer you sell directly to customers, ie. when people order food they are paying you directly. You then pay the Food Assembly company and the Host a brokerage fee/ service charge.
